Homecoming 2025
Homecoming at Monticello Christian Church will be Sunday, September 28. Our speakers will be our Interim Pastor Sam Garris. Lunch will follow the Worship Service in our new Community Outreach Center. Join us for our 116th Homecoming!
Wonder Junction VBS @ MCC
Wonder Junction VBS will be July 8-10 from 5:00-8:30. Dinner will be provided for the kids each night. Families may enroll their kids using the following Sign-Up Genius link. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0B45A5A82DA4F94-57147021-monticello Kids do not have to enroll to attend. Just show up on July 8 @ 5:00 and we’ll get them in an age-appropirate class!

Big Summer Blowout
This is a free community event with inflatables, games, Kona Ice and pizza!
Easter Sunday Services
There will be 2 services at MCC on Easter Sunday. A sunrise service will begin at 7:00 am and will be followed by a covered dish breakfast in the Fellowship Hall. The regular Worship Service will be at 11:00 am.
16 Cents Homeless Ministry Church Under the Bridge
Members and friends of MCC will provide the meal, music and message for the homeless in the Greensboro area on Saturday, May 10. Th event will take place on Spring Garden Street under the Elm/Eugene Street bridge. More details to come.
Easter Egg Hunt & Activities
Children will participate in an Easter egg hunt and other Easter activities. Snacks will be provided. This event will be held rain or shine.
“Soup”er Bowl of Caring
Come join us for a soup & sandwich lunch following the Worship Service on February 9 to raise money for local church food pantries. Contributions will be divided equally between Locust Grove Baptist Church and Fair Grove United Methodist Church.
Church Conference Meeting
Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway
150 Thanksgiving meals will be given away to families in need. The meal consists of a turkey, stuffing, green beans, potatoes, cranberry sauce and dessert. The event will be on Saturday, November 23 and begin at 9:00 am in the MCC parking lot. Meals will be given away on a first come, fist served basis.
MCC Trunk or Treat
MCC members are encouraged to decorate their trunks to hand out candy to community children.
Summit Rotary Club Picnic Fundraiser
The MCC Women’s Fellowship will be providing a picnic meal for the Summit Rotary Club at Bur-Mil Park in Greensboro on Thursday, October 10. All women (and men) of the church are encouraged to provide food for this event as we will serve up to 75 people. Food should be at the church by 4:30 that day if you can’t help at the event. The meal will begin at 5:30…
